Horus Heresy Audio Books and a few updates....
I've just got done listening to False Gods after listening to Horus Rising and getting rather hooked.
The reason I chose audio is because it gave me something to listen to while I'm painting and modelling and it seems to make me paint a little better strangely and also because I'm being rather lazy with reading at the moment.
I absolutely love them though, the voice talents are excellent and having never read the books previously (which is shameful I know but give a noob a break =p) I am hooked on the stories also. Extremely gripping stuff.
I probably have nothing to share that you all already don't know to be honest but I will say that if you have the cash to splash the audio books are the way to go. I will be definitely be adding the rest to my collection.
I will also say that I did download Horus Rising so if you have a quick google search on it you shall find that so you can try before you buy so to speak. I could not find False Gods anywhere so I had to purchase that but if you haven't read the books and you are to lazy to read the pdf's then check them out.
This being the very minute amount of people that haven't read the books but even if you have I recommend revisiting them in audio form.
On to other blog business and I have a few pictures of things I've been working on to put up in the next couple of days being my command squad WIP, finished Sigismund and start of my Sternguard so look out for that.
I know this may seem a pointless post but they really get me in a way I have to share with everyone.
Thanks for reading.

I am currently reading book seven of the Horus Heresy series and I love it. I am not one for audiobooks myself, but I have listened to the two Garro audiobooks. They were well done.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to start Flight of the Eisenstein. Are the audiobooks abridged? I borrowed a couple Grisham ones from a friend and was very disappointed when I found out they were.
