1500, 1750 And 2000 Point Lists

So I've been playing around with lists again.

Mainly due to the fact that since I got my codex half my time is spent playing around with lists because I find it fun.

I don't know why haha.

Anyway on to the lists.

For 1500 points this is what I'm looking at fielding.

HQ

Lysander - 200


Elites

10 man Sternguard 2 x combi melta 2 x combi flamer 1x power fist w/drop pod - 330


Ironclad Dread -  w/drop pod - 170

Having a little trouble with this as want to include Terminators but can't work out what to do with them, i.e. what to drop etc.

  1. Lose the sniper scouts - they seriously underperform in my opinion - I mean you will get a lucky shot or two but most of the time they do nothing (apart from the missile launcher). If you want to take scouts (which would be good for a third scoring unit) just take boltguns on the and the missile launcher and then either outflank them or use the scout move to get into position - they are kind of backfield objective holders in that way - so they don't need a rhino really.
