Autocannon Dreadnought WIP

So I got in these lovely Autocannons from http://bitspudlo.com/ extremely cheap and great quality. If you want them look in the section Bitsbox.eu and look at there flak cannon platform.

Basically you have these Dreadnought shaped arm attachments that are separate from the platform mechanism and you have to do some minor work to get them to fit. I will say that it will make it easier if you have a dremel, but I used a knife haha. It's all resin so easy to work with, I'm now gonna sort out some magnets to make it easier for me to keep them on. This is because it was hard to get the hole sizes right with a knife but I did an alright job haha.

So I highly recommend checking them out even just to look at there other bits.

Apologies for the poor pictures but my set up has gone missing since moving stuff around haha.

I will try and get a better set up soon as I have a few things to show.

So I finished him off couple of days ago, few bits to clear up but generally I think he's done!

Beginnings Of My Custom Sternguard.....

So I did this guy last night and thought I'd post him up. I like the way the combi-melta looks but still got to add the nozzle of the bolter back on. The arms are from the Forge World character upgrade pack.

So what you think so far? I'm going to be using tac marines for all of them with added purity seals and cloths and such as I have an abundance of them. And they'll all have veteran shoulder pads so I think after that they should pass for sternguard. I used Storm Bolter clips for the bolters to make them look like they have special ammo.

Already having fun with this to be honest.

My MWC Conversion Contest Entry Captain Sigismund

After alot of chopping and changing I'm finally (nearly) happy with him.


So without delay here he is....

I'd like to point out that this is my very first conversion so don't be to brutal.

That is a big sword

And here's the proof that this is mine

What I used....


The body and head from the Company Champion, Terminator Storm Shield, Forge World pre heresy legs, power sword with a combat blade added to the end and the end cut off and replaced, cape I had in a pack of 5 from ebay, Imperial Fist Shoulder pad, Brass etching fist from Forge World, old school backpack and a bunch of purity seals.

This was all stuff from the bitz box that I've thrown together to make him.

I just stuck these on to cover up a few mistakes and because I figured it would look OK. Whether this gets added or not I'm not sure.
