My Shiny New Resin Bases...
So I've been waiting awhile but I finally picked up some resin bases for my Imperial Fist army to really finish off what I have painted.
The ones I picked up are reasonably cheap I think for resin bases and are great quality in my opinion.
Check 'em out
This is just what I had out at the time the rest are in the wash.
What I ended up buying was 30 25mm bases, 5 40mm and 3 60mm bases. This all came to around £20 which I think is really good for what I got.
Link to ebay store I purchased them from
If you want specific links just ask.
My only real problem now is how do I paint them? Generally I think I'm going for the grey mixes for the rubble/ground and dirt/rusty metals but I want to try and spice it up a little. Any suggestions? Also if you have any tutorials for rusty/dirty metal please point them out.
One last thing I have added a chatbox to the sidebar so get chattin! Maybe give me some tips for my bases on there?
Find us on Facebook and Twitter
Thanks

Wow, that is a good price for that many bases. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteNice bases, they should finish the army off nicely, you could paint them like I did my city ruins...base with a random pattern of black and two different browns, give them a random wash (I used different washes for different building) of a brown/orange/green colour. Then drybrush them boltgun metal and drybrush methril silver. Finally go over some areas with a drybrush of black and scorch brown. You can check out some of my buildings here if your interested:
