Crimson Fists Vindicator WIP

So this is the reason I've been gone so long, stripped everything started Crimson Fists. But first had to get the motivation to do so, got it and gave it a go. I've started work on a bunch of troops but dropping in an out of doing different parts of the army to avoid getting bored and I think it's going fairly well.

I'll let you be the judge of how I'm doing.

What needs to be done:

1. I need to finish the highlights
2. A couple more washes
3.The treads
4. Clean up (because as you can see it's still pretty messy)
5. Add tank icons

What you think of it so far?

Thanks,

Needs Ork skulls, otherwise looking good.

  2. Real nice. I like the crimson dozer, it sets the model apart from most any other I've seen. The cleanness of the job does give it a bit of an Optimus Prime look, maybe some weathering?

  3. Well thank you, yeah I liked the idea of trying something a little different and I'm glad you like it.

Onto weathering, I'm not sure what to do weathering wise? Because it's a dark colour not sure how to do it.

  5. Great job on the blue and the edge highlights. The only this that detracts my eye on the model is the quantity of red on the dozer blade. Great work and thanks for sharing.

  6. Thanks, I wasn't sure about the dozer blade and I think it's definitely an acquired taste.

  7. I like the red on the dozer blade. While it may seem a bit much right now, I think with some careful weathering and toning it down, it will make a nice addition to the model.

    Ron, FTW
